Dean O’Gorman is getting a lot of attention at the moment for his role as Fili in The Hobbit films but here he is as Johnny in Gillian Ashurst’s 2001 film Snakeskin. Also stars Melanie Lynskey and Boyd Kestner.
Inge Rademeyer as Isabella Montgomery in Mike Wallis 2011 film Good for Nothing – described as the world’s first pavlova western. Also stars Cohen Holloway.
Congratulations to Rawiri Paratene who has become an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to film, television and theatre.
Rawiri is best known for his role in Niki Caro’s 2002 film Whale Rider. Other notable film credits include The Insatiable Moon, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted and Footrot Flats: The Dog’s Tale.
